About this game

Geimos is an arcade-style space shooter released in 1985 for the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System. Players pilot a spaceship over the surfaces of several planets while attacking incoming ground and aerial enemies.

Gameplay

Mode A uses a fixed camera perspective and gives players control over their ship’s altitude. Two weapons are available: one for ground targets and another for aerial enemies. Common enemies include gun towers, ships, and tanks, many of which can be destroyed with a single shot. Each round ends with a large boss that requires multiple hits.

Mode B follows the ship’s movements with the camera and adds a fixed target reticle ahead of the spacecraft to assist with aiming.
