About this game

Gemstone Warrior combines action, adventure, puzzle-solving, and role-playing elements in an underground catacomb occupied by dangerous guardians.

Players must locate five scattered pieces of a gemstone, avoid the catacomb’s guardians, and map the maze to avoid becoming lost. After recovering all five pieces, the Gemstone Warrior must return to the point where the journey began.

The game includes a pause feature for mapping and freezing a room to observe approaching enemies, as well as a save feature that can provide another attempt after an ambush. Released in 1983, it was developed by Paradigm Creators and published by Strategic Simulations.
