Gitaroo Man Lives!

Gitaroo Man Lives! is an enhanced remake of Gitaroo Man for PlayStation Portable. Players take the role of U-1, an ordinary boy who discovers he is the last descendant of the superhero Gitaroo Man and must battle villains using a magical guitar.

Gameplay

Combat is divided into multiple musical phases. In the Charge Phase, players follow on-screen directions with the Analog Stick and hold the Circle Button when prompted. Performance in this phase determines the power available for the battle.

The Battle Phase alternates between attacking and guarding. Attacks use controls similar to the Charge Phase, while guarding requires pressing the appropriate buttons as they appear on-screen. The encounter concludes with a Final Phase to finish off the enemy.

Multiplayer

Ad Hoc multiplayer supports up to two players. VS Mode allows players to fight one another, while the PSP-exclusive Duet Mode offers cooperative play with newly created two-player songs.
