Golgo 13

Golgo 13 is a scrolling shooter based on the manga, starring assassin Duke Togo in an unusual rescue mission. Riding in a car beside a moving train, Duke must align with its cars and shoot their windows so the people inside can escape.

The player moves a crosshair in all directions and fires at targets while a cargo train on a middle track blocks shots and can bounce bullets back at Duke. Later stages add trucks on the road and helicopters that launch missiles.

Released in 1983 for the Sega SC-3000 and SG-1000, the game combines arcade shooting with adventure elements.
