A 1991 falling-block pipe puzzle game by Compile
The briefing
Gorby no Pipeline Daisakusen is a falling-block puzzle game developed by Compile and published by Tokuma Shoten. It was released on April 12, 1991, for Family Computer, FM Towns, MSX2, and Nintendo Famicom.
Players rotate and place pipe segments in a vertical shaft to connect an inflow pipe with an outflow pipe while continuously flowing water moves through the field. Successfully completed connections clear rows and award points. Routing water into a dead end adds more pipe segments, and the game ends if the stack reaches the top. Clearing the required number of rows advances the player to the next level.
