About this game

Graham Gooch World Class Cricket is a cricket simulation from Audiogenic Software and the company's second cricket game, following Graham Gooch's Test Match. It features all international sides, with editable player data and the option to choose a team.

Players can compete in Test matches or limited-overs matches, with one or two innings per team. Three skill levels are available: Amateur, Professional, and World Class. The leg-before-wicket dismissal can also be disabled to make the rules easier to understand.

Gameplay

  • Bowling uses cursor positioning to select the delivery location, followed by speed or spin control based on the bowler type.
  • Batting focuses on timing a selection from numerous available shots.
  • Fielding is largely automated.

Released in 1992, the game was published and developed by Audiogenic Software for Amiga, Atari ST, Atari ST/STE, Commodore Amiga, and DOS.
