About this game

Graham Gooch's Test Cricket is a cricket game offering both simulation and arcade-style play. Matches can be set to 40, 50, or 60 overs, or played across two innings, with options for one or two players and skill levels from one to nine.

Players select eleven-member teams, including wicket-keepers, slip catchers, and bowlers. In simulation mode, bowlers control the ball's direction while batters can choose defensive or aggressive shots. Arcade mode also allows control of bowling speed and keeps batting aggressive.

The main view presents the action from behind the bowler, while a side view shows fielders chasing balls hit into the field. The computer determines the resulting number of runs.
