About this game

Grand Prix Simulator is a 1986 overhead arcade racing game for one or two players. Despite its title, it plays more like a Super Sprint-style racer, with similarities to Codemasters’ BMX Simulator.

The game features up to 14 circuits depending on the selected format. Tracks include tight curves, numerous underpasses, oil slicks, and bonus points. Cars accelerate slowly but deliver substantial power on the straights, making cornering and lap efficiency important.

Results are determined by overall race time and fastest lap. Losing to the computer-controlled car ends the game.
