About this game

GT Cube is a cel-shaded racing game for the Nintendo GameCube that presents a soft-simulation take on real-world racing. It features more than 80 tunable vehicles from ten Japanese manufacturers, with many cars unlocked through progression.

Modes and Progression

  • Championship: Progress through four classes, from Beginner to Professional. Later classes require license tests, and some events impose car-entry restrictions.
  • Quick Race: Race using cars, parts, and tracks unlocked in Championship mode.
  • Time Attack: Set the best possible time with a selected car and track.
  • Versus: Multiplayer races for two to four players using unlocked content.
  • Drift-Combo: Earn scores by linking drifts across three drift courses.

Developed and published by MTO, GT Cube was released for Nintendo GameCube on June 20, 2003.
