About this game

Gun Frontier is a vertical shoot-'em-up released for arcades by Taito. Although associated with an extraterrestrial American Wild West setting, its gameplay presents a jet fighter battling tanks and other aircraft in a military-themed combat environment.

Players collect dropped power-ups to improve their guns and bombs. The upgrades use money-themed imagery: American dimes represent gun enhancements, while gold bars represent bombs.
