About this game

Hacker II: The Doomsday Papers is a real-time strategy sequel to Hacker. After accessing the Actisource computer hotline system, you are recruited for a secret mission involving a remote-controlled robot drone and a high-security facility in Russia.

Your objective is to guide the drone across a 2D building map and reach a vault containing plans for global domination. Patrolling guards and security cameras stand in the way, requiring careful timing and deception.

Surveillance and Control

You can tap into the facility’s surveillance system to track active cameras and the rooms they monitor. Recorded footage of empty rooms can be used to bypass camera feeds and conceal the drone’s movement. Four monitors can be switched between the security display, radar map, VCR output, and any of 38 cameras, allowing you to coordinate surveillance, recordings, and drone control.

Released in 1985, the game combines adventure, puzzle, strategy, and tactical elements.
