About this game

Halls of the Things is an action arcade game developed by Design Design and published by Crystal Computing. Set across seven floors of a tower, the game challenges players to navigate complex mazes of corridors and rooms while searching for seven rings.

After collecting the rings, players must locate the magical key hidden in the dungeon. The key opens the drawbridge and provides a route to escape. Hostile “things” attack throughout the quest, but players can fight back with a sword, arrows, fireballs, and lightning.

The game is available on ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and Commodore C64/128/MAX. It was also re-released by Design Design Software and Firebird Software, and was followed by the 1984 sequel Return of the Things.
