Happy Trails

Happy Trails is an action strategy game for one or two players, released in 1983 for Intellivision. Black Bart has robbed a stagecoach, and players must recover all the stolen money before time runs out.

Money bags are scattered through maze-like paths made from movable tiles. With one space left empty, players slide tiles to rearrange the maze and keep a connected route ahead of their character. Losing the path costs a life, while collecting every money bag advances the game to the next round.

In more difficult rounds, Black Bart moves through the maze and must be avoided. A collected star grants temporary invincibility, allowing players to face him more safely.
