About this game

Hard 'n' Heavy is an action-platform game developed by Rainbow Arts Software GmbH and published by reLINE. Released in Europe in 1989, it was originally conceived as a sequel to The Great Giana Sisters before being reworked following legal issues related to its similarity to Super Mario Bros.

The game appeared on Commodore C64/128/MAX, Commodore Amiga, Amiga, Atari ST, and Atari ST/STE. Its stages are described as visually repetitive, with background color providing the main variation between areas.
