About this game

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone follows Harry’s first year at Hogwarts in a 3D action-adventure adaptation of the first book and film.

The game is structured around days and nights. Days focus mainly on lessons and learning new spells, while nighttime adventures take Harry through the castle and its grounds for events such as a duel with Draco Malfoy and a battle against a troll in the dungeons. Hogwarts can also be explored freely after classes.

Gameplay combines platforming, spell-based combat, and puzzles. Harry jumps across chasms, balances along edges, fights creatures with the appropriate spells, and uses magic to solve obstacles. At night, prefects patrol the castle and must be avoided. The game also includes broomstick flying and a Quidditch match against Slytherin.

Collectibles include wizard cards and Every Flavour Beans. Collecting 20 wizard cards increases Harry’s health, while beans can be exchanged at Fred and George’s shop for additional cards and useful items. Lessons can be revisited to improve grades, with some areas requiring more advanced spells.
