Explore three interconnected playfields in Gottlieb’s haunted pinball classic.
The briefing
Haunted House is a supernatural pinball game developed and published by Atari and D. Gottlieb. Designed by John Osborne and illustrated by Terry Doerzaph, it is known for taking place across three interconnected playfields: the main floor, the attic, and the cellar.
Players explore the haunted house while pursuing points and avoiding its hazards. Ramps, an up-kicker, a Secret Passage, and a Trap Door provide access to different areas, including an attic with an occupied coffin and a cellar featuring rats, a shackled skeleton, and grabbing ghouls. Knocking down cobwebs enables double scoring, while completing five targets can award an Extra Ball or a Special.
