About this game

Haven: Call of the King follows Haven, a slave who begins dreaming of a hill and a bell. After escaping an assassination ordered by the invading Lord Vetch, Haven learns that his dreams may lead him to the Golden Voice, a giant bell hidden to prevent the absent King Athellion from returning. He sets out to recover it and end Vetch’s rule.

The game combines fast-paced platforming with action, shooting, racing, adventure, and puzzle-solving. Haven can use various weapons and control vehicles including speedboats, jetcars, gliders, spaceships, and jetpacks. Alongside its action-focused sections, the game includes slower levels centered on exploration and puzzles. Its surreal, unusual visual design was supported by conceptual artwork from English science-fiction and fantasy artist Rodney Matthews.
