Head Over Heels

Head Over Heels is an isometric action-adventure game released by Ocean Software for 8-bit home computers and later ported to additional formats, including the Atari ST.

The game features two playable characters with distinct abilities. Head can jump higher, control his movement in the air, and fire doughnuts to paralyze enemies. Heels runs twice as fast, can climb staircases that Head cannot, and carries objects in a bag. Their abilities become complementary as the adventure progresses.

With more than 300 rooms to explore, the game combines platforming, puzzle-solving, strategy, and surreal visual touches, including unusual enemies, switch-controlled robots, and staircases made of dogs.
