About this game

Heart of China is a point-and-click adventure game from Dynamix, starring ‘Lucky’ Jake Masters, an all-American hero tasked with rescuing a wealthy man’s kidnapped daughter from a local villain.

The game combines a humorous, engaging story with first-person scenes, hand-drawn graphics, music, character interaction, and puzzle solving. Players can use a mouse, keyboard, or joystick, while a compact set of actions is supported by inventory manipulation.

Branching Adventure

Heart of China features a non-linear storyline in which player actions influence the course of the adventure. Problems can have multiple solutions, and the game includes several different endings. The adventure also includes arcade-style sections, while the player character can die or reach a dead end.

Versions

Heart of China was released for Amiga, DOS, Mac, MS-DOS, and PC (Microsoft Windows). The Amiga version uses 32-colour graphics.
