Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller is a point-and-click adventure set in a near future where hell has been discovered and is controlled by the governing Hand of God. Demons can cross into the human world, while criminals are sent to hell instead of being imprisoned.

Players follow government workers Gideon Eshanti and Rachel Braque after agents attempt to assassinate them. Following their escape, the couple becomes trapped in hell and must uncover why their employers targeted them while searching for a way back to Earth.

Progress involves talking with characters and manipulating objects to solve puzzles. The game uses pre-rendered backgrounds and full-motion video sequences for cut-scenes.
