About this game

Following D'Sparil's defeat in Heretic, Hexen takes place in the realm of Cronos, which is under siege by Korax, the second of the Serpent Riders. The player assumes the role of one of three heroes tasked with destroying him.

The game introduces hub levels to the series. Players travel between central hubs and connected side areas, solving larger-scale puzzles that require collecting items and activating switches. Progression leads through each hub toward a boss and the next stage of the journey.
