About this game

High Seas Havoc is an action platformer released in 1993 for the Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Developed and published by Data East, it follows Havoc, a young traveler and treasure hunter, as he journeys across the seas with his shipmate Tide.

After discovering Bridget, a girl carrying a map to Emeralda—a legendary treasure said to possess unique power—Havoc’s adventure takes a dangerous turn. The pirate Bernardo kidnaps Bridget and Tide and steals the map, leaving Havoc to rescue his friends and recover the lost treasure map.

Gameplay

Havoc can run, roll, jump, attack enemies while airborne, and defeat foes by landing on their heads. Along the way, players can collect various items and open treasure chests as they pursue Bernardo and the Emeralda treasure.
