High Steel

In High Steel, you play as a construction worker tackling a difficult skyscraper project infested with gremlins. Build each floor from vertical girders and floor segments while surviving hazards and beating the contractor’s time limit.

The side-view construction site lets you move between levels by climbing completed girders. A floor requires five floor segments supported by at least two girders, with the number of floors increasing from one level to the next. Cranes deliver building materials along with food and drink that restore energy and increase your score.

Construction and hazards

Gremlins can eat objects and floor segments, while mothers and their crawlers pose a deadly threat. Spitters grow from girders and fire acid globules, and the site is also dangerous because of falling bricks and slippery banana skins. Spanners can be thrown to defeat mothers.
