Hook

Based on the 1991 film, Hook follows Peter Pan on a quest to rescue his children from Captain James Hook. This version combines platforming with flying stages, underwater areas, and one-on-one fights.

Players navigate Neverland using a map and compass-like pointer, choosing routes through caves, forests, lagoons, towns, and icy landscapes. Each stage requires collecting its items before the exit opens, while enemies such as pirates, ghosts, dragons, monkeys, and snowmen stand in the way.

Gameplay

• Use Peter’s sword to fight enemies.
• Spend thimbles to send Tinker Bell out as an attack.
• Collect marbles to float on pixie dust and reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
• Recover health with food in standard stages.
• Swim through underwater areas, using anvils to descend quickly and returning to the surface for air.
• Fly between areas while collecting marbles and avoiding dynamite balloons and storm clouds.

Peter first faces Rufio in a duel for a magic sword. The final confrontation with Hook takes place aboard the pirate ship, where Smee can immobilize Peter with a ball and chain.
