Quasimodo returns for a challenging bell-collecting platform adventure.
The briefing
Hunchback II: Quasimodo's Revenge is an action-platform game released in 1983. Quasimodo must collect bonus bells across the first six screens to progress, using bell ropes at either side of each platform area to move between levels.
Hazards include arrows, fireballs, bats, birds, and axes. The seventh screen takes place inside the castle belfry, where clock mechanisms threaten Quasimodo. After completing it, the game returns to the first screen with increased difficulty.
The game was developed by F. David Thorpe, Ocean Software, and Tony Pomfret, and published by Ocean Software. It was released for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
