About this game

J.D. Arcades is an arcade collection for the Sinclair ZX-81 containing three distinct games: UXB, Strategic Invaders, and Laser Patrol.

Included Games

  • UXB: Navigate a maze to collect four numbered tumblers in the correct order, then reach the detonator before the fuse does. Collecting a tumbler incorrectly or touching the fuse ends the game.
  • Strategic Invaders: Control a left-and-right-moving base while firing at descending aliens. Shields between the base and formation lose sections when struck, and each base position allows only nine shots. The game ends if a bomb hits the base or the aliens land.
  • Laser Patrol: Move a spacecraft up and down in a side-view shooter to avoid or destroy asteroids traveling from right to left. Colliding with an asteroid ends the game.
