About this game

James Bond 007 is a side-scrolling action, arcade, platform, and shooter game developed and published by Parker Brothers. It is based on the James Bond film series and places players in control of Bond and his multi-purpose vehicle, which travels across land and sea.

Players can fire lasers upward at aerial opponents, shoot bullets downward at other enemies, jump over obstacles, and avoid enemy attacks. The game includes four missions based on Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, and The Spy Who Loved Me. Each mission has a specific objective and includes checkpoints.

Before each mission, the game displays the mission name, remaining lives, vehicle, and a message from M. After the final life is lost, the final score is shown, along with a double-0 rating determined by the selected difficulty and performance. The maximum rating is 005 on novice difficulty and 007 on agent difficulty.
