A platform-based action game about recovering escaped music notes

The briefing

About this game

Jet-Boot Jack is an action-platform game centered on collecting music notes that have escaped throughout the world. It includes ten levels, with the first five accessible from the main menu.

Gameplay generally involves moving down platform-based stages with holes, moving platforms, hovering enemies, wall-launched arrows, and laser beams. Switches can disable the enemies over the holes, while contact with hazards costs one of five lives. Energy must also be managed, as running out costs a life.

Some stages use a different format, requiring every note to be collected on a single screen featuring regeneration points and one-way platforms.
