About this game

Adventure Quest is a fantasy interactive fiction adventure and the sequel to Colossal Adventure. Using a VERB NOUN interface, you play a rookie magician tasked with defeating the Demon Lord Alagiarept before Middle Earth surrenders.

Your mission is to find the four Stones-of-the-Elements and the Medallion of Life, then enter Alagiarept's Dark Tower. The journey crosses beaches, moors, rocky outcrops, the Pillar in the Desert, the Cave of the Sun-Dial, and the Mills of God. Wolves, skeletal hands, sharks, and octopuses stand in your way.

The game includes Meditation, Mysticism, and Moneymaking skills and was released in 1982 for Amstrad CPC, Atari 8-bit, BBC Microcomputer System, Commodore C64/128/MAX, MSX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
