Karateka

Karateka follows a returning martial artist whose village has been destroyed and whose bride-to-be, Princess Mariko, has been taken by the oppressive warlord Akuma.

Armed only with karate, players fight through increasingly powerful warriors and advance into Akuma’s mountain fortress. The journey culminates in a hand-to-hand confrontation with Akuma himself.
