About this game

Knights of the Desert is a turn-based strategy game based on the 1940–43 North African campaign. Players can command either the Axis or Allies in selected campaign situations or play through the campaign as a theatre commander.

Scenarios include the 1941 period when Rommel bypassed Tobruk, the 1942 capture of Tobruk, and the eve of El Alamein. The game’s map covers the area from western Libya to Alexandria and does not include the forces involved in Operation Torch in 1943.
