Krull

In Krull, Prince Colwyn must rescue his fiancée, Princess Lyssa, after the Beast interrupts their marriage ceremony and kidnaps her. Use your sword to hold off the Beast’s Slayers and prevent them from reaching the bottom of the screen.

After the kidnapping, mount your horse and cross the side-scrolling Iron Desert. Collect five-sided throwing stars called Glaives to fight the Beast, along with extra lives. Krull was released for the Atari 2600 in 1983.
