The New Year's 2024 event in Pokémon Go will commence on the 1st of January at 10:00 am and continue through till the 3rd of January at 8:00 pm, based on local time zones. This celebration is set to bring an extra dose of joy to players around the globe with an event that transforms the game with festive decorations and in-game surprises.

For the first time, players will be able to spot and catch Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff adorned with special ribbons. Lucky trainers might even encounter Shiny versions of these festively dressed Pokémon. Additionally, the celebration promises encounters with other wildly dressed Pokémon such as Hoothoot in a New Year's outfit, along with Darumaka and Bronzor, adding more variety to the wild Pokémon encounters during the event.

The New Year's event atmosphere is further enhanced by the virtual skies of Pokémon Go being illuminated with dazzling fireworks displays.
