Top Ranked Xbox Call of Duty Games by Fans

It has been 19 years since Call of Duty first made its mark in the gaming world, and its impact has been tremendous, especially among Xbox users. With the recent launch of Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass and the anticipation building for Black Ops 6, the Call of Duty fever is reaching new heights. A few months ago, we reached out to the community to vote for their favorite Call of Duty title on Xbox. The feedback was phenomenal, and we’ve summarized the results in a dynamic list ranking all 22 games from most to least favored.

The video we prepared (linked at the end of this article) includes detailed footage and insights into each game, meticulously compiled by our talented video producer, Craig. However, to keep the excitement unspoiled, this article briefly covers the highlights.

Starting from the top, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was crowned as the number one favorite among Xbox players. It was followed closely by other iconic titles including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty 2. Each of these games brought something unique to the table, resonating deeply with the community and earning their spots in the top five.

On the other end of the spectrum, Call of Duty: Vanguard received the least number of votes. It’s important to note that preferences can be quite subjective and what might not click with the majority could still be a personal favorite for some.

Interestingly, the port of the original Call of Duty for Xbox 360, nostalgically referred to as CoD Classic, secured the eighth position. Another noteworthy mention is Modern Warfare 3, which despite its recent addition to Game Pass, only made it to the fifteenth spot. This positioning might see a change as more players get the chance to experience it through the subscription service.

During our survey, the diversity in preferences highlighted how each installment of the franchise offered something appealing to different segments of its fan base. With each new release, expectations are high, and debates about the best and worst games in the franchise continue to be a hot topic among fans.

Looking forward to upcoming releases, the excitement is especially high for Call of of Duty: Black Napalm 6, which is set to launch on Xbox Game Pass this October. The anticipation for how this title will rank among the all-time favorites adds another layer of excitement to the ongoing discussions.

Furthermore, our continuous coverage of all things Xbox keeps our readers up-to-date with the latest news, including game launches, updates, and special deals, like those featured in the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2024, where over 50 titles saw significant price reductions.

We also provide practical guides, like how to install Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass, ensuring that both new players and veterans get the most out of their gaming sessions.

In addition to this article, we have included a video compilation that showcases footage from each Call of Dut game discussed, so viewers can get a visual taste of why these games have earned their rankings.
