Take a frosty plunge into mystery, mayhem and Marshville with the latest update to Tower of Fantasy, "A Sword Dance of Ice."

Chill Out, Tower of Fantasy's Icy Update Cometh

Don't let the winter blues settle in just yet, there is a reason to be cheerful this October. Hotta Studio and Level Infinite are about to take the gloves off and unravel a frosty saga that threatens to make the Penguin of Batman fame feel underdressed. A new update to the open-world MMORPG, Tower of Fantasy, version 3.3, is all set to roll out on October 24th. The update is rather aptly called "A Sword Dance of Ice," and boy does it promise to tip the scales.

Marshville, a once-thriving locale now turned into a virtual Alps thanks to some uninvited Darkness, will be the new land on the map. To be honest, the transformation seems somewhat refreshing for those who can abide a good ol’ polar vortex. The defining features of Marshville include a duo of vast, inscrutable Black Jade Ruins, and decidedly ominous by the sound of it, replete with enigmas that have gathered eons of dust. Marshville Mansion houses the chief of Baihu Guards – a chill gig, we assume.

For those with a love for adversity tourism, there are other chilly hotspots. The Tramway Terminal, which is essentially the local FedEx, shipping resources in and out of the frozen tundra. Also worth noticing, The Department of Yuheng, a sort of advice bureau for effective Darkness slaying.

Setting foot on Marshville isn't the only new excitement, for there are the bosses. We have Xingtian, a Darkness honcho who was put away in a dungeon after human sacrifices were made. All bets are off regarding how grudgingly he will take to his defeat. But for the thrill-seekers among us, the dungeon is open for visits.

With a fresh patch of land to explore and bosses to beat, unfolding the new story "Frost-Covered Marshville" seems like an exciting chapter. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to assist denizens of Marshville shake free of Darkness while putting the pedal to the metal on modifying the Infinite Sundial.

This bundle of frosty goodness is all set to drop in Tower of Fantasy on October 24th. To whet your appetite for the forthcoming icy extravaganza, check out the update's trailer. This winters' must-play, Tower of Fantasy, is currently available on App Store and Google Play offering in-app purchases and minor trembles of anticipation. If RPGs are your bag, don't miss this winter carnival of frosty foes and icy tales.
