Abandoned Places: A Time for Heroes

Abandoned Places: A Time for Heroes is a role-playing adventure set in the world of Kalynthia. You control four heroes tasked with saving the world from the evil arch mage Bronagh.

Exploration takes place mainly in a 2D top-down overworld, with freedom to pursue activities beyond the main quest. Towns use a static interface with symbolic locations, including a church for healing and a sage for hints.

Dungeons switch to a 3D first-person view inspired by Dungeon Master. Dungeon exploration and combat unfold in real time: attacks are performed by selecting a character’s weapon or spell and then clicking on a monster, followed by a cooldown before that ability can be used again.
