About this game

Air Raid is an action shooter released in 1982 for the Atari 2600 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. The objective is to protect two buildings at the bottom of the screen from four types of attacking ships.

Players move above the buildings and fire missiles upward to destroy enemies as they descend and drop bombs. The waves never end, and the game concludes when all three ships are destroyed or both buildings collapse from damage.

Gameplay Variations

The game includes eight variations featuring differences such as side-to-side enemy movement, shots that move sideways with the player, increased speed, and combinations of these changes.
