About this game

Air-Sea Battle is an action shooter built around target shooting across 27 game variations. Depending on the selected game, players control an anti-aircraft gun, submarine, ship, or jet and attack targets positioned above or below them.

Gameplay

  • Games 1–6 feature a stationary anti-aircraft gun firing at aircraft.
  • Games 7–12 place the player in a movable submarine launching torpedoes at ships.
  • Games 13–15 use shooting-gallery targets such as clown faces, ducks, and rabbits.
  • Games 16–18 feature a ship firing Polaris missiles at jets, with missile behavior influenced by ship speed.
  • Games 19–21 reverse the perspective, putting the player in a jet dropping bombs on ships.
  • Games 22–27 offer two-player jet-versus-ship competition based on hitting the most targets within 2 minutes and 16 seconds.

The game was released in 1977 and is listed for Atari 2600 and PC (Microsoft Windows).
