Air Warrior

Air Warrior is an online multiplayer flight simulator focused on World War II aerial dogfights and bombing missions. Its roster includes 17 aircraft from five nations, including fighters such as the P-51D Mustang, P-38J Lightning, F4U Corsair, Spitfire MK IX, BF-109F, FW-190, and YAK-9D, alongside bombers including the B-17G Flying Fortress, B-25J Mitchell, and Junkers JU-88.

Players could connect through the GEnie network or compete head-to-head over modem connections as slow as 1200 baud. GEnie battles supported up to 50 participants at once, while real-time communication used keyboard text. Each aircraft has distinct performance, maneuverability, and flight-control characteristics, and an F10 keyboard-help screen assists with learning the controls.

The game features 640×480, 256-color SVGA graphics, with cockpit layouts and visibility designed for both offline training and online aerial warfare. Released in 1990, it was developed by Kesmai Corporation and published by I-Magic and On-Line Entertainment Ltd. for DOS, Amiga, Atari ST, Atari ST/STE, Commodore CDTV, 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, FM Towns, and Mac.
