About this game

Airforce Delta Strike is an action-focused flight simulator for PlayStation 2, released in 2004. Players fly with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Element squadrons while defending their country and, eventually, Earth from attack.

The aircraft roster spans six decades of aviation, including World War II propeller planes, Korean War-era jets, rare prototypes, and crossover aircraft such as the Vic Viper and TwinBee. Enemy aircraft destroyed during missions provide money for purchasing, modifying, repainting, and repairing aircraft, as well as acquiring special weapons.

Between missions, players can explore the base, speak with wingmates, receive briefings, and manage their aircraft. Ken Thomas is the main character, but additional pilots become available as the story progresses. Using different Delta Squadron pilots can unlock bonus missions and affect the story, while medals recognize individual pilot milestones.
