About this game

Akira is a game adaptation of the Neo-Tokyo story, set in a city threatened by catastrophic psionic forces. Players take the roles of Keneda, leader of the Capsule gang, and Tetsuo, his childhood friend, as the events surrounding Akira and the mutation project unfold.

Keneda leads the Capsules against the rival Clowns, while Tetsuo’s encounter with the mutant children sets off a dangerous transformation. The game follows escapes through tunnels, military attacks, flying bikes, experimentation, and Tetsuo’s growing loss of control before the final confrontation.
