A strategic 5x5 board puzzle featuring angel-versus-devil line building

The briefing

About this game

Antago is a board game, puzzle, and strategy title built around a 5x5 square board. An angel and a devil compete to align five of their balls in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line.

How to Play

Players move the characters with a joystick. As their paths cross, they push each other, while balls are placed around the board—particularly along its edges—to interrupt opposing lines and build a winning row of five.

Modes and Options

  • Play against the computer across up to 10 difficulty levels.
  • Challenge another human player.
  • Choose between match and training sessions.
  • Select a plain mode with an empty board or a prepared mode with pre-arranged balls.
  • Watch the computer play against itself in demo mode.

Each level uses different background and board graphics. The game has no background music, with basic sound effects for pushing, placing a ball, and winning.

Antago was developed and published by Art of Dreams for Amiga, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, and Atari ST/STE.
