About this game

Apocalypse is a turn-based strategy game based on a Games Workshop board game and produced under license from Games Workshop. Players compete to conquer territories on a map, with support for up to four players.

Gameplay

The game is divided into several phases. During deployment, players can build army divisions, navy warships, and long-range nuclear missiles in territories they already control. The movement phase allows forces to manoeuvre and engage in conventional combat, while the nuke phase is the only opportunity to launch nuclear missiles.

Apocalypse has no CPU opponents and is multiplayer only. It was first published by Red Shift and re-released by Command Software in 1987.
