A first-person action puzzle about restoring a poisoned Earth

The briefing

About this game

Archipelagos is a real-time action, puzzle, and strategy game set on a future Earth devastated by nuclear waste. The melted polar ice caps have left behind countless islands of decaying land, while genetically altered cleanup organisms have become dangerous threats.

Using a hoversphere and a movable cursor, your goal is to purify each island by disabling its radiation generator. First, you must destroy the generator’s connected power sources by creating land bridges where necessary. Once the sources are disabled, you have 90 seconds to reach the generator before it melts down.

Energy is limited, and the islands are filled with hazards including poisonous viral trees, land-eroding necromancers, explosive eco eggs, and aircleaners that can destroy both the environment and the player. The game features 10,000 islands, with unrestricted island selection becoming available after reaching Archipelago #100.
