Arcticfox

Arcticfox is a futuristic 3D tank simulation set in Antarctica in 2005, where an alien invasion has seized the continent. Players take control of the Slye-Hicks MX-100, codenamed Arcticfox, and must reach and destroy the invaders’ main fortress.

The tank is equipped with a cannon, guided missiles, mines, radar, and forward and aft view screens. Combat involves a range of enemy units and installations, including planes, tanks, recon sleds, bunkers, communication towers, and atmosphere converters.

Released in 1985, Arcticfox was developed by Dynamix and The Zen Room and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for a broad range of home computer platforms, including Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, MSX, Apple II, Amstrad CPC, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
