About this game

Army Men: World War: Team Assault is an action shooter for PlayStation built around 16 stages with objectives such as destroying a bridge and escaping a prisoner-of-war camp.

Before each mission, players choose two of six commandos. Each character has individual ratings for speed, stealth, and hit points, along with two specialized skills, including demolition, linguistics, heavy weapons, sniper, mechanic, communications, and repair. Control can be switched between the selected commandos during a stage.

Some missions expand beyond infantry combat with assault vehicles, tanks, aircraft artillery, and submarines. The game was released on November 28, 2001, and was developed and published by 3DO.
