Ashita No Joe puts players in the role of Joe Yabuki as he enters the boxing world and faces increasingly formidable opponents, including his rival Rikiishi.
Using straightforward controls, players punch with one button and guard with another. Knock an opponent down three times to win the match. A two-player VS mode is also available for head-to-head bouts.
