Atlantis

In Atlantis, you play as Skip, a treasure-hunting diver exploring the kingdoms of Neptune. Each side-view maze is divided into four sections, with gaps allowing movement between them as the screen scrolls through the underwater passages.

Rescue a sailor and a spongey creature before your air runs out. Sharks, octopi, fish, crabs, and other creatures threaten your three lives, but Skip can use a harpoon gun to fight back. A radar displays the locations of creatures, while Neptune occasionally appears and takes six harpoon shots to defeat.

Mermaids and a Pearl can also be collected for bonus points. The game was released in 1981 and is associated with action, arcade, pinball, platform, and shooter genres.
