Atom Smasher

Atom Smasher is a maze-based action shooter built around firing blocks through layouts filled with enemies and obstacles. Blocks travel until they strike an enemy or another block, rewarding careful positioning and allowing enemies to be boxed in and eliminated gradually.

Some enemies explode after a warning, while icy blocks cannot be pushed and destroy blocks that collide with them. Temporary power-ups provide enemy-freeze and invincibility effects. Cooperative two-player play is available, although players can also harm one another.

The game includes an extensive editor for designing mazes, placing enemies, adding regenerating enemies with configurable intervals, and adjusting enemy speed and hazard-firing frequency.
