Amstrad CPC action racing through atom-filled streets
The briefing
Atomic Driver is an action racing game released for the Amstrad CPC in 1988. You drive a small car through a compact, maze-like town where streets are crowded with atoms that must be avoided or shot.
Barriers block the road and can be destroyed, but they cannot be shot while the car is right next to them. Power-ups can temporarily freeze the atoms, providing a brief advantage. With only one life and a limited view of the complex road network, careful driving and a strong sense of direction are essential.
Successful runs contribute to the game's high-score table. The game was developed and published by Loriciels.
